  • a brand new week . . .

It’s a beautiful Monday morning – the picture perfect way to start off the week. This weekend felt as though it was more than two days long. The days felt longer than usual, which made for a very productive weekend. From kicking off baseball season with a fireworks show after the game, to seeing girlfriends, to meeting up with a friend who is redesigning Sacramento Street (so giddy about this) – this weekend fully recharged my battery. I even had a little time to kick up my feet to read the new issue of Belle, practice my photoshop skills from blogshop and since the sun was shinning bright the entire weekend I got to sport my new sunnies. How was your weekend? I hope you were all able to take a little time to get some rest. Happy Monday to you friends! Photos by Caitlin Flemming #lifestyle

  • press: apartment therapy

A few months ago Apartment Therapy approached me about featuring our tiny abode as a house tour – I was incredibly flattered. Well friends, yesterday it graced the pages of Apartment Therapy and I’m delighted to say it got a positive response (something I was nervous about). The ever so lovely Leela Cyd Ross took the stunning photos and I thought I’d share a few outtakes here. A few items have changed in our apartment – new coffee table and light on my desk from HD Buttercup SF (which is becoming my new go-to shop), got a new pillow for the chair in the window fromWest Elm (it’s SO soft) and I’ve re-arranged our West Elm bookcase. I’d like to give a big shout out to my favorite shops to source items for my apartment –HD Buttercup SF, West Elm, Summer House in Mill Valley, Grenouille, Designer Fluff, and Erica Tanov Marin. Be sure to head over to the feature for the entire home tour. Thanks again for all of the amazing support friends! This blog wouldn’t be the same without you. I’ve got to say, you keep me motivated to keep inspiring you daily. Photos by Leela Cyd Ross #interiors

  • a brand new week . . .

After a weekend learning a ton at blogshop, I’m completely rejuvenated to create beautiful and inspiring posts here on Sacramento Street. From barreling, to masking, to animation, they literally go over everything in a step-by-step process that has you leaving day two not feeling overwhelmed but eager to jump into it on your own. Seriously, if you haven’t thought about taking the class – I highly recommend it. Instead of photographing my own Monday morning inspiration board I thought that I should share the board I created in class. I wanted to show you how much I learned from both Bri and Angela. In keeping with my aesthetic, I wanted to create a board that showed beautiful spaces I’ve adored over the past few years. I hope all of you have an amazing and productive week ahead of you. I think you know what I’ll be doing every night this week – practice makes perfect! #lifestyle

  • a brand new month . . .

With a new month and week upon us – it feels like a fresh start. Spring cleaning has been accomplished, the laundry is folded and put away and the entire apartment smells like a garden thanks to the flowers Natalie gave me. What makes this week even more special is Eric finally gets from spring training. A few things I’m loving this week – the new issue of Kinfolk (which is stunning and beautiful), blooms to mark the beginning of spring and a brand new bottle of Rodin hand lotion. I hope all of you have a creative and productive week ahead. Photo by Caitlin Flemming #lifestyle

  • a brand new week . . .

Cheers to a new week! After spending the weekend enjoying quality time with Eric and warm weather in Arizona, it’s back to the daily routine here in San Francisco. I’m not loving the chilly weather – alas hopefully the rain that we’re getting will pass quickly. This week the new Vogue Living Australia is giving me tons of much needed inspiration (even bigger plus, Peggy’s feature she shot in this issue is stunning!), my new Tom Ford lipstick in Spanish Pink has me excited to dress up my lips every day, and lastly some Mariage Frères tea to keep me warm. Have a wonderfully productive week everyone! Photo by Caitlin Flemming #lifestyle

  • a brand new week . . .

Happy Monday! This weekend was all about getting together with friends that were visiting from out of town, running errands and ending the week by heading to the suburbs to celebrate my cousins birthday. It was quite lovely and refreshing – probably because I finally gotadjustedto the timechange. This week’s inspiration – the new Elle Decoration UK that I picked up at Birch, my Coraggio fabric that I’m excitedabout incorporatinginto our apartment, an Astier bird, delicious cocoa brûlée chocolates that I’m obsessed with and lastly anecklace that that I bought a long time ago and am finally incorporating into outfits. Have a wonderful week – I’ll be taking some AutoCAD class this first part of the week. Wish me luck! Photo by Caitlin Flemming #lifestyle

  • a brand new week . . .

After a lovely weekend in Scottsdale spending time with Eric, watching my first baseball game of the season, and finishing off the weekend brunching and shopping with Jessica, who happened to be in town (such a treat) – it’s hard to come back to a busy and chilly week. If only it was sandal weather in San Francisco. I’m already counting down the days until my next trip to Scottsdale in a week and a half. A few things I’m loving – this stunning Madewell catalog that I got in the mail, a new soap from Birch that I can’t get enough of, scrolling through photos of palm trees on my iPhone from this weekend, and this nude Estee Lauder lip gloss. Hope all of you have a wonderful and productive week ahead. Photo by Caitlin Flemming #lifestyle

  • a brand new week . . .

This weekend was perfection. I’m not even sure where to begin but if you follow me on instagram you saw it all. An overnight trip to Napa to celebrate Kelley’s birthday was above and beyond my wildest dreams – from staying in a beautiful home nestled next to vines, wine tasting in summer like weather and ending the day with a private dinner cooked by Tyler Florence’s culinary director, Tyson. It was stunning, memorable, and lovely to be surrounded by such amazing friends. A few things I’m loving – my striped Ikea trays that I have throughout our apartment, a new bracelet and camera I picked up at the Alameda flea market, my go-to Rodin hand lotion that I’m addicted to and lastly my poppin ruler (it’s come in handy at work). Thinking positive thoughts for a very productive, busy and happy week ahead! Photo by Caitlin Flemming #lifestyle

  • a brand new week . . .

Good morning! It’s another beautiful day here, which makes for a perfect way to start the week. We’ve been graced with spectacular weather here in San Francisco and I’m savoring every minute. Some special moments this weekend that made me smile were – catching up with a girlfriend, going to the movies, and spending Sunday with Eric. A few things I’m loving – new work essentials from poppin (who doesn’t love a pair of white scissors?), stunning anemones, my Astier plate where I put jewelry and my go-to favorite necklace. Hope all of you have a fabulous week. I can’t wait for Paris Fashion Week to begin and I’ll be posting new photos of our apartment! Photo Caitlin Flemming #lifestyle
