On our recent trip down south to Austin we discovered Silvercar. It’s an incredible new rental car service that actually made renting a car a pleasurable experience – take my word for it friends, it’s amazing! We landed from our flight with freezing temps in Austin (which is rare) and we were greeted by a message on our phones that a car was waiting for us outside. The car drove us to the rental lot, opened up our Silvercar app, unlocked our Audi A4s and we were driving away in less than five minutes. Two minutes later Eric and I were singing along to our Pandora – a sign we were definitely on vacation.

We were so excited for our trip – we couldn’t wait for the delicious food, inspiring shops and spending time with family and friends. Some of our favorite restaurants we went to were Josephine House and Arro - both were designed beautifully. They both gave me inspiration for a couple projects I’m currently working on. We also drove around town to go to a few favorite shops Camille recommended – you’ll see more on those shops this week.

I have to say, our week with our Silvercar had us wanting an Audi for ourselves – especially with the built-in wifi and sunroof. At the end of the trip it was sad to say goodbye but luckily we travel to Austin regularly and we can’t wait to rent with them again. Silvercar isn’t available in every city, but it’s growing fast – if you’re traveling to Austin, Dallas, LA or SF I would highly recommend looking into Silvercar.

This post is brought to you by Silvercar. All opinions are my own. Thanks for supporting sponsored posts that keep Sacramento Street doors open.
