Happy Monday! It’s a cold and rainy day here in San Francisco, which calls for lots of wool layers and tons of tea. After a hectic wedding weekend filled with love and happiness for the married couple, Sunday was purely devoted to decking the halls with Christmas spirit. Eric and I bought a tiny tree and it now smells and feels like the holiday season in the Flemming household. Thinking positive thoughts for the week that lies ahead. Life is definitely what you make of it. Enjoy your week everyone! Photo by Caitlin Flemming #lifestyle

It’s good to be home – after a whirlwind trip to LA with a visit to the Greystone Mansion to see the Kendall Wilkinson room in person, a fabulous holiday party, and then lunch with Jessica from Destined to Design, it is nice to be back in the Bay Area. When you leave home sometimes your heart grows fonder of the city you live in, that definitely happened for me. As I landed back in San Francisco, I got giddy with excitement. A few things inspiring me this week – the latest copy of The Gentlewoman (it’s incredible), photos I took on my iPhone of the Greystone, a YSL purse my dear friend let me borrow (I’m madly in love with it), a notebook and pen I picked up in a cute shop in LA, and delicious caramel that the Thompson Hotel in Beverly Hills were giving out (I’m addicted to them). What’s inspiring you this week? A book? City? Holiday decorations and music? December is such an inspiring month! Cheers to a wonderful week ahead! Photo by Caitlin Flemming #lifestyle

Rise and shine – it’s Monday! After four days off from work and my computer I’m completely rejuvenated to dive head first into a busy work schedule and holiday gatherings. This week is going to be extra hectic – friends visiting from out of town and a short work trip to LA. A few things inspiring me this week – a stunning book I picked up at Juciy News on Fillmore street (a great gift), a checkered scarf I can’t stop wearing, the calligraphy place cards my aunt put together for Thanksgiving dinner and my favorite Astier vase. What’s inspiring you this week? It’s exciting having the holidays in full swing – decorations need to be hung, presents are found for the perfect person and party invitations are rolling in. Hope all of you had a fabulous holiday weekend. Photo by Caitlin Flemming #lifestyle

A few things inspiring me this week – the first issue of Kinfolk was the perfect read before Thanksgiving, blooms for the house (anemones and paper whites), and lastly a trip to Heath Ceramics to pick up a few presents and some dish ware for the apartment. I hope all of you have a lovely week ahead whether you’re prepping for Thanksgiving, traveling to visit family or staying close to home. I can’t wait for the holiday weekend – it’s going to be so fun! Cheers to a wonderful short week of work! Photo by Caitlin Flemming #lifestyle

After a peaceful weekend with girlfriends up in the woods - I realized how important it is to get out of the city sometimes to slow down your life to enjoy the outdoors and some downtime. A few things inspiring me this week – I had the pleasure of reading the brand new Anthology and it’s amazing (I couldn’t put it down), I found this old necklace in my closet that I got at the Alameda flea market a couple years ago (it’s definitely going to be making more appearances in my ensembles), with the cooling temps it means that it’s scarf season (my favorite accessory), and lastly spending time at CARROTS this week got me utterly inspired – every piece of clothing in the store is on my wish list. Hope all of you had a fabulous weekend. I’ve got a hectic week ahead of me, but I’m ready to take it on after this relaxing weekend. Photo by Caitlin Flemming #lifestyle

A few treasures that inspired me this week were Nomad by Sibella Court – it’s utterly divine (and courtesy of Chronicle Books), hydrangeas that are the most beautiful color, new John Robshaw pillow cases that I’ve been anxiously waiting for (ours are so faded that the brown is now taupe), a necklace that I could not stop wearing, and lastly my new Astier addition – a candle that smells so good I can’t stop burning it. If you’re on the hunt for a new candle I highly recommend the Mantes La Jolie. What did all of you do this weekend? I hope you enjoyed the extra hour of sleep. I certainly did! Cheers to a new fulfilling week! Photo by Caitlin Flemming #lifestyle

What a spectacular weekend - it was filled with gorgeous warm weather, quality time catching up with girlfriends, a little Halloween fun and a lazy Sunday that I needed in a huge way. All in all I wish every weekend could be just like it. A few things that inspired me this week . . . peonies from the flower market, a postcard from my dear friend Amy, my new go-to necklace by Kora, a weekend find at Cris consignment – my new Dries heels (can’t wait to wear these beauties) and lastly, a Muse magazine that is filled with tons of warm weather fashion inspiration. What’s been inspiring you lately? Cheers to a productive week ahead for all of us! Can you believe tomorrow is November? ps. Don’t forget to enter the Graphic Image iPad case giveaway – it ends later this afternoon! Pop over now so you don’t miss out. Photo by Caitlin Flemming #lifestyle

This weekend was utterly delightful – spending quality time at home getting items crossed off my to-do list, an impromptu tea time with a girlfriend, and then ending the weekend with a dinner at Kokkari with Erin and our husbands (my mouth is still watering from the delicious food). As usual, here are some beautiful things that are inspiring me this week; a Chagall print that I got four years ago in Paris, a new mercury decanter for our bar, an antler that I got last year at the flea market, my globe calendar from Prize in Ashland and lastly this amazing tape from Japan that I purchased at Alder & Co in Portland (makes wrapping presents even more fun). After surviving my first few days of work I’m ready for a full week of productivity. With deadlines looming and tons of projects in the works I’m going to hit the week running until I board my flight Friday to Dallas. Cheers to a wonderful week ahead! If only vacations didn’t have to go by in a blink of an eye. Spending five days in Portland was divine – eating at new restaurants, doing a little shopping, spending quality time at home and meeting up with old friends is exactly what I needed to recharge. A few things that were inspiring me this week come from my days spent in Portland – a beautiful new magazine I discovered called Grazia Casa, a few items from around my mom’s house that I should have snuck home in my suitcase and of course an eiffel tower because both my mom and I were reminiscing about the trip we took a couple years ago (we’re now plotting a new european adventure). Today will be filled with a trip to the flower market, an impromptu meet-up at a friends new house she just moved into (it’s gorgeous), and of course checking off items on my to-do list. I’m ready for the exciting week ahead. Hope all of you have a wonderful week ahead. The leaves are beginning to turn here in San Francisco and I’m absolutely loving every minute of this fall weather. It’s my favorite time of year! Photo by Caitlin Flemming #lifestyle
