On the Menu: Zesty Rich Hummus

Zesty Rich Hummus



1 can Organic Chickpeas, rinsed and drained

Juice of 1/2 a Lemon

2 small Garlic Cloves

2 Tbsp Tahini

1/2 an Avocado

1/2 cup Water

2 tsp Cumin

1 tsp Turmeric

Sea salt to taste

Pinch of Paprika



In a blender, bring all ingredients together and blend into a rich and smooth consistency, occasionally scraping down sides. Add more water to achieve desired consistency, if necessary. Transfer to a bowl and sprinkle over some paprika. Serve with pita, fresh cut veggies or bread.
