Eat Local: The Magic Flute

Now that the gloomy weather has finally lifted, I’m fully enjoying the blue skies and sunshine returning to San Francisco. Even if I have to bundle up to enjoy the break we’re having, I’m ready to eat alfresco and soak up the rays of sun. As many of you know, I recently got a workspace a block from my home on Sacramento Street. One of the perks of my office is having a restaurant right downstairs! The Magic Flute Ristorante has been an institution in our neighborhood since 1981. This is one of my favorite places to take a client or a friend (like Amanda) for lunch. I’m particularly smitten with their outdoor seating in the back.

Recently, I’ve teamed up with American Express as a blogger ambassador for Blue Cash Everyday Card If you needed an excuse to dine out at a special place like The Magic Flute, you now have the perfect reason! As a new Blue Cash Everyday Card Member, you can earn 10% cash back (up to $200) within the first 6 months of Card Membership by eating at your favorite restaurants – and of course, trying out new ones!

Enrolling is easy and the benefits are significant – go enroll here! In addition to earning 10% cash back when you eat at qualifying restaurants, you can also earn 3% back at US Supermarkets, 2% back on Gas and at Department Stores, and 1% back on nearly everything else. And American Express has your back with their unparalleled service and security – all with no annual fee.

So, I’m off to enjoy lunch downstairs and soak up a bit of the sunshine we have today. I hope you consider doing the same thing soon with American Express.
