Good morning everyone, it’s a new week and after a weekend spent slowing down and unwinding, I’m ready to take on the week. We headed up to Portland on a last minute trip – spent mornings out on the porch enjoying homemade breakfast with the scent of Jasmine in the air, went to Alder & Co (my favorite new Portland store) and spent entirely too much money. We also went to the local tobacco shop to pick up some new glossies and ended the day with a meal at Caffe Mingo that was out of this world – let’s just say it was the weekend that I totally needed to get recharged.
As I mentioned last week, I’m going to start giving you a peek at the items that have inspired me over the last week: the ever so stunning House Beautiful which I can’t seem to put down, a mint Julip cup I picked up at the flea market, my new favorite bracelet I can’t seem to stop wearing, Sibella Court’s NYC guide and bright new lip gloss that I love.
Also, I’ve been overjoyed with all of your comments about our home being featured on Design*Sponge – your support means the world to me. Tomorrow I’ll begin posting details about each part of the apartment with more detailed photos, sources, a floor plan and more. Many of you are emailing and commenting, so just watch out for the posts!
