After fighting a horrible cold over the last part of this week I was finally able to get out of bed to start getting in the holiday spirit. My mom and I enjoyed lunch at Chez Panisse – a new holiday tradition we’re starting this year. The meal was delicious and the atmosphere was absolutely divine for a cold rainy day. The rest of the weekend was spent Christmas shopping, wrapping and finally getting our tree (it’s never too late, right?).
Last week I was incredibly happy to be featured in GOOP – Gwyneth Paltrow’s site as one of her favorite sites she’s reading right now. When I found out on Thursday I couldn’t believe it. I had a “HOLY SH*T” moment when I found out on the bus – everyone probably thought I was crazy, but I was just in shock. Thank you all of the sweet comments on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
